JOB DESCRIPTION

I. REQUIREMENTS
1. General Requirements
- Age: No age requirement.
- Attitude: Must have a passion for teaching English and possess a compassionate, - committed, responsible, and ready-to-learn attitude.
- Experience: Preference will be given to teachers with prior experience in teaching at pre-school or primary school levels.
- Education: Holders of a Bachelor of Teaching, TESOL, TEFL, or CELTA will be preferred.
2. Skills
- Language proficiency: Must have very clear English pronunciation with a neutral accent, and high proficiency in all four language skills - listening, speaking, writing, and reading.
- Storytelling: Candidates must be skilled in storytelling.
- Communication: Must possess excellent English communication skills.
- Pedagogical skills: Must have pedagogical skills and be good at presenting.
- Tech-savviness: Familiarity with Canvas and Pearson would be an advantage.
- Teaching style: Experience with active learning and teaching methods is preferable.
II. JOB DESCRIPTION
1. Roles
- Teaching: Delivering storytelling courses for parents so that they can apply storytelling techniques to bond with their children.
- Student demographics: Soon-to-be parents or existing parents learning to better connect with their children.
- Class schedule: Classes are scheduled for 5:00–6:30 A.M or 8:00 - 9:30 PM Indochina time from Monday to Saturday (3 days a week: Mon, Wed, Fri or Tues, Thurs, Sat). The course duration is 6 weeks.
- Progress reports: Updating the performance and progress reports of classes as required or when requested by the Training Department.
- Curriculum development: Contribute your own ideas to improve the curriculum and adjust the content to best fit the students’ ability.
